As we lift this situation to the Lord, we remember Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Father, we come to You in this time of grief and uncertainty. The fires rage on, bringing destruction and fear to homes and families. We ask for Your comfort to blanket those who are displaced. May they feel Your presence in their pain. Strengthen our firefighters and first responders as they fight tirelessly to protect lives and property. Give them wisdom and courage in the face of danger. Lord, we seek hope amidst this devastation. Bring the community together in love and support, reminding them they are not alone. Help them rebuild and recover, piece by piece. Let the spirit of resilience shine brightly in their hearts. In the midst of these storms, may Your peace prevail.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
